Yvonne M. Dye
Yvonne M. Dye, 69, of Fremont, OH passed away on February 20, 2015 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. She was born on August 29, 1945 in Johnstown, PA the daughter of Merle and Rita (Stein) Shaffer.
Yvonne married Robert W. Dye on May 28, 2009 in Fremont, OH and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2010. Yvonne and Robert were the owners of Transport Buff Manufacturing in Fremont. She loved boating and going to the lake with her husband. Yvonne was a member of the Fremont Kiwanis and Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, making jewelry and crafts. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends and her dog, Sean.
Yvonne is survived by her sons, David and Daniel Comerford; grandchildren, Julia, Erin and Patrick Comerford; daughter-in-law, Amy Comerford and brother, Ronald Shaffer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Dye.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Memorial Service: Sunday, February 22, 2015; 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Funeral Celebrant Susan Zimmerman officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line Rd., Sandusky, OH 44870.
