
Wilma L. Kelly, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Elmwood Communities of Fremont. She was born August 7, 1934 in New Lexington, OH, the daughter of Herman Edward and Anna Catherine (McGonagle) Keister. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy. Wilma married John Neal Kelly on January 8, 1955 in New Lexington, OH and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2012. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Wilma babysat for sixty years taking care of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other children. She enjoyed bingo and loved spending time with her family.
Wilma is survived by her daughters, Debra (Harry) Rapp, Leesburg, FL and Diane (Ken) Kostal, Marblehead, OH; sister, Cora Kunkler, Junction City, OH; grandchildren, Brad (Faye) Rapp, Leesburg, FL, Chad (Londa Long) Rapp, Fremont, OH, Justin (Laura) Rapp, Twinsburg, OH, Kizzie (Steve) Culbert, Port Clinton, OH; great grandchildren, Devin, Ethan and Braiden Rapp all of Fremont, OH, McKaia and Kalie Rapp of Florida, Jadyn (Aniya) Rapp, Fremont, OH, Eric and Lexi Rapp both of Twinsburg, OH, Kody and Kanon Culbert, Port Clinton, OH; great-great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Ariana and TraVae Rapp, all of Fremont, OH and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Neal Kelly; granddaughter, Kylie Schluchter; siblings, Eileen Banks, Rita Mace, Juanita Reaver, Austin Keister, Michael Keister, Theresa Allen and Rosalie Hewitt.
Visitation: Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, December 30, 2022; 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH
