
Willie L. Norwood, Sr., 54, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1965 in Mississippi to Herman Norwood and Cora (Lofton) Norwood. He was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Willie worked at Sunny Farms Landfill in Fostoria. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.
Willie is survived by his children, Brandon Norwood of California, Desiree Norwood of Tennessee, Rayjean Viruet and Willie Norwood, Jr. both of Fremont; father, Rev. Herman Norwood of Mississippi; siblings, Chris (Yolanda) Norwood of Texas, Lula Echols of Mississippi and Theresa (Patrick) Norwood of Indiana; former wife, Theresa Norwood and stepson, Tylan Domanski both of Fremont; many aunts, uncles, nephews nieces and friends; many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Cora Norwood and stepmother, Vernon B. Norwood.
Visitation: Friday from 6 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 2, 2019, 1:00 pm at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 927 Stilwell Ave, Fremont, OH.

Omg just seen this Rip Willy ! I haven’t see him in so long ! But he was the sweetest guy ! I knew him back in the days when I was young ! My dad Larry was he’s boxing coach with buddy ! We had a lot of good times with him and all the guys at the gym !!! He was so nice and so funny ! I hope god holds u in his arms and takes great care of you in heaven! Very sweet man!!
