Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior! We, The Church of God of the Apostolic Faith give our most genuine condolences to you, your family. We are reminded in the bible Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. – Mathew 5:4

His wisdom, integrity, poise and genuineness were vital to community leadership. He truly made a difference within Fremont, Ohio. I can only imagine the depth of your pain and loss, as you journey in life without your beloved family member William “House” Lamar Jones, 47, of Fremont, and this giant within the community who was so faithful as a football coach and mentor with the ACE Mentoring Program at Fremont City Schools for over twenty years..

I relate to the deep sense of loss and bewilderment that this bereavement causes you.

Periodically, I struggle with the inexplicability of the death of my own mother who was taken from us as well.

Yet, I remain steadfast in the goodness, correctness and faithfulness of Almighty God in such dilemmas.

I pray that time will be good to you. I hope that Almighty God will grant you the peace and comfort of His presence. Additionally, I hope that the many daily conversations that you had with your family member will flood your mind, heart and soul. May these memories console and sustain you in this challenging hour of bereavement.

Humbly, I hope that my words will also help you as you journey on this difficult road. I have enclosed a list of “Scriptures Relating to Healing from Grief.” Over the next year, you may find them helpful as you accept the physical loss of Our dear friend and family member William “House” Lamar Jones, and the transformation of your relationship with him.

Lastly, I pray that the trustworthiness of the Lord’s words in John 11:25-26 will carry you forward. On behalf of our church family, please share our thoughts with your beloved family.

I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about House passing away. I used to work with him for years with WSOS and always enjoyed hearing him laugh and joke around! I’ve run into him here and there since then and we’ve always spoke. He’d say, ” Well hi there Kandi Cain” and then laugh the way he did. He always had a “good way” about him when dealing with kids and they loved him.
I know he is in a better place and not suffering anymore but of course I’ll always miss him.
Sending prayers to his mom and to his two kids.
