
Virginia L. Deisenroth, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Monday, October 27, 2014. She was born on September 17, 1933 in Milan, IN, the daughter of Omer and Mary (Albright) Sheldon. She was a 1952 graduate of Milan High School.
Virginia married Bernard J. Deisenroth on December 26, 1953 at St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. Virginia also worked in the cafeteria at St. Ann School and at Atlas Industries for five years. She was a member of St. Ann Church and a long time member of St. Francis Society. She enjoyed camping and traveling.
Virginia is survived by her husband of sixty years, Bernard J. Deisenroth, Fremont, OH; children, Bernard J. (June) Deisenroth IV, Oak Harbor, OH, William L. “Larry” (Tracey) Deisenroth, Alyce Ann (Bill) Witt, Mary E. Olmstead, Julia M. (Jeff) Michael all of Fremont, OH, Denise M. Martinez, Martin, OH, Laura J. (Hal) Lovins, Clyde, OH, Janet L. Prater, Ft. Wayne, IN; twenty-four grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elmer J. Sheldon, Ruth Burris, Doris Grossman, Audrey Emery and Dora Vinup.
Visitation: Thursday from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, October 31, 2014, 10:30 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1021 W. State St, Fremont, with Fr. Eric Mueller officiating.
