
Virginia G. Mariscal, 92, of Fremont, OH passed away on June 8, 2023 at Valley View Health Campus in Fremont, OH. She was born on September 22, 1930 in Laredo, TX to Guadalupe and Luisa (Lucio) Guerrero. Virginia married Basilio Mariscal, Sr. on January 11, 1948 at Holy Redeemer Church in Laredo, TX and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2000. Virginia took pride in being a full-time homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Virginia enjoyed listening to music and watching novellas. She enjoyed spending time and cooking for her family, especially during the holidays. Virginia had a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Christina (Adolfo Sr.) Moreno, Clyde, OH, Leonardo (Patricia) Mariscal, Sr., Baltimore, OH; daughters-in-law; Juanita Mariscal, Gibsonburg, OH and Irene Lance, Fremont, OH; seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband; Basilio Mariscal,
Sr., sons, Esteban Mariscal, Sr., Basilio Mariscal, Jr., Daniel Mariscal, and great-grandchildren, Xavier Louiselle and Amaiyah Mariscal.
Visitation: Monday, June 12, 2023 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
