
Vincent Donald Overmyer, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. He was born on October 20, 1946 in Fremont to Donald R. and Susanne (Smith) Overmyer. He was a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School.
Vincent married Vicki Hasselbach in April, 1969 and she survives. He was employed by Singer Controls for twenty-five years until the plant closing. He then worked at the Ayling & Reichert Company for eight years as machine setup and operator. Vincent was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Fremont Eagles, and Moose Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming with Richard.
Vincent is survived by his wife of forth-six years, Vicki Overmyer, Fremont, OH; brothers, Bill (Dana) Overmyer, Willard, OH, Gary (Debbie) Overmyer, Clyde, OH, Carl (Jennifer) Overmyer, Catawba, OH, many nieces and nephews and his Dachshund, Oscar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy Overmyer.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
