
Velma E. Poynter, 90, of Milford, OH passed away on May 19, 2016 at Arbors at Milford. She was born on February 3, 1926 in Barberton, OH the daughter of Rial A. and Vera E. (Mansfield) Finney.
Velma was a Homemaker and the Assistant Manager at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Cincinnati. She enjoyed taking walks, the outdoors, birds and flowers. She also loved to listen to the Cincinnati Reds on the radio.
Velma is survived by her children, Loretta Mooney, Phoenix, AZ, James Poynter, Mt. Orab, OH, Robert Poynter, Shreveport, LA, Karen Werline, Batavia, OH, Keith Poynter, Fremont, OH and Rick Poynter, West Union, OH; twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Beverly Brown and twelve brothers and sisters.
Graveside Services: Monday, May 23, 2016; 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
