Tiana, I will always remember your infectious smile and sunny personality. I loved singing next to you in choir when we would try to figure out the alto notes together. Just sitting here reading your obituary really made this tragedy more clear. We grew up together we sang songs together. You had one of the prettiest voices I’ve ever heard. This really hurts. Tianna…you said “Hey Cuz!”, kissed me on the cheek and told me to have a safe trip…..not knowing it would be the last time I would see you on this side. As tragic as this is I’m hoping this event will open some eyes and some hearts-we all have to go where you’ve gone. Let’s get right people…myself included. I pray for comfort for your mother sisters, your children, family and friends…go on and get that robe and start singing in that heavenly choir!

Tianna and I were childhood friends and played so often together, having lived only a few blocks away from one another. I remember sleep overs, her mom Gloria and her beautiful voice, her Grandma Izola and her grape vines and remedies. Tianna introduced me to some new music when we were just girls and some of those songs are still my favorites. We went to school together, graduated in the same class, and later in life, worked together at Angie’s Angels Daycare, where she did so well with children of all ages. I remember the birth of her little sister Klarissa and how excited she was to be a big sister for the first time. Later on, I remember hearing about the birth of her first child, Tarian. I was able to meet him when we worked together at Angie’s Angels, and I could tell from his smiling face and manners that she had to be a good mother.
Ecclesiastes 3:11a He had made everything beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3:12 I know that nothing is better than to rejoice and do good in our lives.
Tianna will be missed, but remembered for the beauty and good in her life.
My sincerest condolences and prayers to all those grieving for her.
