Trish… You were such a good companion for my brother. You will be rewarded some day. Think Matthew 25:21… “Well done my good and faithful servant…”
I am sorry for your loss and pray that your broken heart heals quickly. You have given much and been through much and now is the time to begin to heal yourself.
God bless you and your family. Thank you and love you.

Trish,
Tommy Powers was a hell of a guy, man of the vine, he sure liked his wine. Having said that, I owe my second chance at life to Tommy. He was there for me and supported me when I needed someone to help me during my time of getting clean and sober.
He hooked me up with a job and physically took me to the job being I had no money, vehicle or home. He helped me get back into the union, and reestablish my pension. Tommy was an ornery, crusty type of guy, but you could always count on him. I am happy to have had him as my friend since the 1960’s. God rest his soul. May God bless you Trish for your loyalty and love for Tommy as you stood by him until the end. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I’ll always remember Tommy by the twinkle in his eye.

Dear Dan,
Thank you for sharing this. He used to do the same with me. When I was young, he’d pick me up, we would go to breakfast and then out hunting.
He had a great heart for others.

I’m so sorry, Trish, for your very deep loss, and I’ll always be grateful for the love and dedication you’ve consistently shown toward Tom. I wish you all the best as you move forward.
Condolences, too, to the rest of his direct family, extended family, and friends, of whom there were many. Tom was a people-person with a beautiful heart (and a lively dose of mischief, for sure!), and throughout his life he touched many and enhanced our lives in ways that only he could.
He will be dearly missed … may he rest in peace.

I had the opportunity to spend time with Tom on a few occasions, but knew him mostly through Patti (my wife) and the stories she would tell about him. She has always loved Tom, and admired his heart and artistry. My thoughts are with his family and friends. I am sorry for your loss.

Mary Powers
Trish,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family at this very sad time.
Tom was one of the kindest, most caring person that I knew, he had a very special heart.
I think after the death of Pug, it was extremely hard on him. They were very close buddies, even though they had the distance of miles between them, they always had that special brother bond.
At least now, they are reunited again.
Your in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Mary Powers

Sue, Patti, Danny, Jimmy, Mary, I’m so sorry about your loss. Forty two years our friendship remained. He was one hell of a man, a force of nature with an eternally good soul and rebel/cowboy to the end, of this I remain sure and confident.
