Suzette “Tudy” M. Pfefferle, 64, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Monday, August 18, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born August 22, 1949 in Fremont, the daughter of Robert and Loyola (Babione) Ritzman. She was a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School.

Tudy married Dennis L. Pfefferle on October 26, 1968 and he survives. She worked as a Title Examiner for Firelands Abstract Title Co. in Port Clinton until she retired in 2012. Tudy had previously worked as a Waitress at Wagner’s Country Inn.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, former member of St. Casimir Catholic Church where she was Past Secretary of the Alter Rosary Society, Past President and very active member of the Fremont Women of The Moose, the Eagles Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary and the County Wide and New Bloom Garden Clubs. Tudy enjoyed traveling, baking, camping, ballroom dancing, cross country skiing, going to the Fair, Christmas decorating and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.

Tudy is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Dennis L. Pfefferle, Fremont, OH, children, Nathan Pfefferle, Fremont, OH, Denise (Sonny) Workman, Clyde, OH; siblings, Sandra (Glen) Watson, Nancy (Wink) Winkle, Roberta (Gerald) Lenz, all of Fremont, OH, Ronald Ritzman, Green Springs, OH, James (Marsha) Ritzman of Florida, LaDonna “Bev” (Dennis) Michael, Richard (Wendy) Ritzman both of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Chelesa (Brad) Blodgett, Bellevue, OH, Courtney and Summer Workman, Clyde, OH, Bridget Thomas, Fremont, OH; great grandchildren, Jaden Blodgett and Avery Becerra; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Kay Ritzman and an infant sister.
