
Suzanne F. Darr, 81, of Helena, OH passed away on November 24, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 6, 1937 in Carey, OH to Vincent and Frances (Kromer) Krupp. Suzanne was a 1955 graduate of Carey High School.
Suzanne married Wayne Darr on March 2, 1957 at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, OH. She was the Administrative Assistant for the Executive Director at Hayes Presidential Library for many years until she retired. She had also been the Administrative Assistant for the Memorial Hospital President.
Suzanne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Alter Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Fremont Soroptimist Club, Hayes Garden Club, Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. Suzanne enjoyed volunteering at Croghan School and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of sixty-one years Wayne Darr, Helena; children, Ann (Garry) Deskins, Lancaster, OH, Ron (Holly) Darr, South Trumbull, CT, Lynn (James) Crum, Pataskala, OH, Kay (Melih) Darr-Dimbiloglu, Columbus, OH and Kyle (Denise) Darr, Fremont; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Evelyn Krupp, Carey, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dean, Vincent, Leonard, Giles and Nial Krupp and Corrine Schoenborn.
Visitation: Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH with a vigil at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, November 30, 2018 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the mass at the church.
Burial: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millersville, OH
