This is such a shock to us we’ve been friends so long, have a lot of memories of working on different cars together, drag racing , nascar, and Fremont speedway, We always bragged about who had a better engine and if you could beat them out of the hole. You changed cars and engine so many times you lived at Russ’s speed shop, Gene Bleach boys, and Clyde speed shop . Going to miss ya bud, you never got the chance to help me with my camaro this fall, more determine now. As you traveling that long road you will find all of our passed friends, You will always be in our memory Steve, you were a hell of a guy and glad we closed paths in our lives, until we meet again fly high buddy!! I was very sad to hear about Steve’s passing. He will be missed by many of us that knew him through the pool leagues he shot in. I guess we will pay our “rubber match” sometime, someplace unknown to us remaining. Please accept my sincere condolences!

So sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was one of my brother, James Hurst, best friends when they were young. You have our sympathy. I am certain he is working on a car or tinkering with something in heaven.
