Stacy Coy Leavitt, Sr.

Stacy Coy Leavitt, Sr., 70, of Sebring, FL passed away on September 20, 2021 in Sebring, FL. He was born on December 22, 1950 in Afton, Wyoming to Coy Davis and LaVona (Myers) Leavitt.   Stacy married Paulete Lee Westerman on September 10, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah and she preceded him in death on August 24, 2005.  Stacy served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971.  He was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed motorcycles, travel, blackjack and playing pool.  Stacy was an avid reader and loved spending time with family, specially his grandchildren whom he adored.

Stacy is survived by his children, Vicktoria (Michael) Rathburn, Marysville, OH, Robin (Teresa) Leavitt, Grantsville, Utah, Stacy (Emily) Leavitt, Jr., Henefer, Utah, Jeremiah (Crystal) Leavitt, Gibsonburg, OH, Jason (Tina) Leavitt, Defiance, OH, Mark (Mindy) Leavitt, Gibsonburg, OH, Troy Leavitt, White Plains, NY, Travis (Rachel) Leavitt, Clyde, OH; nephews raised by Stacy Leavitt, Terry and Michael Westerman both of Fremont, OH; siblings, Jeff Leavitt, Aumsville, Oregon, Corey Leavitt, Vancouver, WA and Vonna Westman, Klamath Falls, OR; twenty-four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Paulete Lee Leavitt; sons, Christopher Leavitt and Matthew Leavitt; sister, Lori Leavitt and brother, Lance Leavitt.

A Graveside Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 1:00 pm at Gibsonburg Union Cemetery, 315 S. Main St., Gibsonburg, OH, with Pastor Tim Wisehart officiating.
