
Sidney Lucio, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 12, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice with his loving daughter and brother by his side. He was born on December 16, 1948 in Sao Paulo, Brazil the son of Elmo and Oscarlina (Greene) Lucio. Sid was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Sid worked for Ameritech as a lineman and engineer for thirty years until he retired in 2010. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing darts and collecting movies. Sid also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR.
Sid is survived by his children, Robb (Tina) Jump, Ponchatoula, LA, Michelle (Lonnie) McGhee and Antonio (Melissa) Lucio both of Fremont; brother, Rodney (Gloria) Lucio, Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren, Olivia and Evan Jump, Bryson Ysaguirre, Cassandra, Derrick, Breeanna and Alonzo McGhee, Lexus, Michael, Samantha, Stefanie and Antonio Lucio II, and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Wondelry Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Vickey officiating.
