I love you guys!!! I will miss her smile, her “faces” and looks! My fondest memories will be of the night I met her (I won’t go into details! Lol) and a couple weeks ago at the hospital when I ran into her. As she was being wheeled down the hall to her test, I yelled, “I love you!!” and she yelled the same back to me

    Ms Shirley
That infectious smile and quick Witt will be missed. Your strength and silent determination did and always will inspire me. I’m glad I told you exactly how you encouraged me to go on. You really must be dancing up in heaven. We love you. Joel and Melanie

Whenever I needed to find my mother, Mary, she was always riding around with Ms. Shirley. We will miss your laugh, your charm, your dignity in all you did at the church, and most importantly your devotion to your children and grandchildren. God called you home, and we ill miss you dearly.

You will be greatly missed. A wonderful and strong woman. Always loved sitting and talking with you and looking through old pictures and listening to the stories. You always spoke your mind and gave advice without hesitation. And can’t forget the cooking, I never could match that potatoe salad! Prayers for strength and peace to the entire Holmes family, she was a treasure to have known and love.

May God’s peace keep you at this difficult time.
My mother and Mr. Tommy always enjoyed when Shirley came around, because they would talk and laugh together. Such good memories!

I took care of Shirley and the “gang” at the Cancer and Infusion Center in Fostoria and always looked forward to hearing their laughter and stories. They certainly livened the place up when they came in. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and I hope you can find comfort in your memories of her.
