Sarah “Sally” C. Chase
Sarah “Sally” C. Chase, 90, of Fremont, OH passed away on July 17, 2020 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on May 5, 1930 in East Palestine, OH the daughter of William “Elmer” and Mamie B. (Makin) Green. She was a graduate of East Palestine High School.
Sally married Owen F. Chase I on March 3, 1951 in Fremont, OH and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2001. She was an assembler at Eaton Controls for forty years until she retired in 1991.
Sally was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was in the Daughters Circle and helped with funeral lunches. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose and an Auxiliary Member at Bethesda Care Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
Sally is survived by her son, Owen F. Chase II, Fremont, OH; granddaughter, Heidi K. (Chase) Stevens, Bellevue, OH; great granddaughters, Joli Stevens, Kennedi, Stevens and Maci Stevens; great-great grandson, Zayden Bare and great-great granddaughter, Ariyah Boonie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; infant son, Gregory Chase; infant sister, Nettie Green; siblings, Russell Makin, Bill Green, Elnora Felger and Norma Kelterburn.
Graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2020; 10:30 a.m. at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron, OH
