
Sandra K. Sorg, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 29, 2022 at Stein Hospice is Sandusky, OH. She was born on January 3, 1956 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Andrew and Norma (Beckberger) Dohanos. Sandy was a 1974 graduate of St. Joseph High School and attended Terra State Community College and received her degree in Respiratory Therapy from Bowling Green State University-Firelands. Sandy worked at ProMedica Memorial Hospital for many years and retired as a Respiratory Therapist in 2021. She was a member of Grace Community Church. Sandy loved rollercoasters and Cedar Point. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts and traveling. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her children, Roger (Stacey) Sorg, Cheryl (Ryan) Cook, Eric (Karen) Sorg all of Clyde and Michelle (Chad) Baker, Green Springs; long-time companion, Jim Reynolds, Fremont; grandchildren, Alysia, Abby, Ashlynn, Autum, Owen, Ethin, Sage, Trent, Brynn, Guile and Raden; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Wyatt, Elora, Emerson, Aurora and Anna; brother, Jerry Dohanos, Fremont; sister-in-law, Eloise Dohanos.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jeanne Pogorzelski and Larry Dohanos.
Visitation: Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
Funeral Service: Saturday, December 3, 2022; 11:00 a.m. at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH 43420 with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.
