
Rose Marie Brown, 78, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born on June 6, 1936 in Newbern, TN, the daughter of Essie B. and Nannie Mae (Harris) Wynn. She attended Bruce High School, Dyersburg, TN.
Rose married Robert Brown, Sr. on October 30, 1955 in Alcorn, MS and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1991. Rose was a Homemaker and also worked at Serwin’s Restaurant, Henkel Clauss and at Countryside Continuing Care Center as a Nurses Aide. She loved to bowl, play baseball, fish and play bingo. She was a member of the V.F.W. Aux and Sanctuary Chapel where she was an active mother.
Rose is survived by her children, Marie Hill, Diane Peters, Robert (Anna) Brown, Jr., Willie Joe (Rhonda) Brown, Mark (Tina) Brown, Debra Haralson and Mary Brown all of Fremont, OH, Regina Staples, Parma, OH, Frederick Brown, Findlay, OH, Michael Brown, Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Nannie Moore, Racine, WI, David Gilton, Margaret Livingston, Martha White all of Newbern, TN; eighteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Brown, Sr.; daughter, Venetta Brown; brothers, Joe and Willie Wynn; granddaughters, Tamara Brown, Olivia Brown and Rose Lynn Brown and two great grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Saturday, March 21, 2015; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Bishop Mark Conley will be officiating.
