Our condolences to the entire Willoughby family.
Ron was a great teacher; he focused on ‘student learning.’
He was also a ‘pressure release valve’ for me during my
early years at Terra. He helped keep me ‘in balance.’

I was so sad to hear about Ron’s passing. My sympathies go to the whole family. I was a friend of his and faculty member in the business department for many years. His office was just two doors down. We would talk often sharing stories, discussing the state of the college, and whatever else that was on our minds. You could see me in his office and him in mine often times just laughing and talking away. Ron was a kind man who would share his vegetables with me that he grew on his farm. I missed him when he retired from Terra just like I miss him now. Ron never told me he played the piano!

Ron was a good friend to my mother back when friends meant something. As a youth I remember visiting their house and spending the evening with Ron playing the piano and everyone else singing or laughing. His friendship to my mother and my family will never be forgotten.
