Ronald Edward Ratliff, “Ratman” 60, of Fremont, OH passed away on May 2, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 6, 1962 to Thomas and Viola (Long) Ratliff in Fremont, OH. He was a 1980 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Ratman worked as a forklift operator for Heinz for thirty-eight years until he retired in 2018. He enjoyed fishing, frog hunting, car shows and attending the VFW with his friends. He was a member of the Black Swamp Bike Club at the VFW.
Ratman is survived by his stepson; Richard Cook, siblings; Roger (Joanna) Ratliff, Fremont, OH, Wanda (Kenny) Sorrell Clyde, OH, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, former wife; Nadine Ratliff and brother; Jack Ratliff.
Visitation: Friday, May, 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.
Graveside service will follow the visitation at 12 noon at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 4341.
Memorials can be made in his honor to the family.
