Rog suffered for a long time with Alzheimer’s and is now at peace. We all enjoyed many good times together in past years. He was an important person in our lives – son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Before his illness he always had a kind word for everyone and had a great sense of humor.
We will miss him so very much.

So sad to read the news of Roger. Always enjoyed seeing him at the old Post Office as well
as the new one. He will be greatly missed not only by family, but a lot of friends as well.

I have so many memories of Roger, I don’t know where to begin. I loved that man! It really hurt to see him suffer these last years. I sure hope he enjoyed my visiting with him.
I will never forget all the things we did together. The 12 Great Ohio Bike Adventure trips. We almost always stayed together, riding, eating, and waiting in long lines to take our showers. When we were younger, playing cards together, picnics with our families and of course the weekend on Kelly’s Island with our children. The football games we went to in South Bend and dancing the Limbo at night. Also, seeing that team up north getting beat 28 to 27 by Illinois. We had great times.

So sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. Another of the old gang from the Post Office. Roger was always a fun guy to talk with. All the best to Ruth and the entire family.

My prayers continue for you and your family. I was so happy that I was able to see and speak to you Roger, when I visited your church The Door. I was my pleasure to give you all those beautiful neck ties and that you said you could share them with your son. May God keep your family safe and healthy. If there is anything you need Mrs Chambers doesn’t hesitate to ask.
God bless you,
