Roberta “Doris” D. Jones

Roberta “Doris” D. Jones, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1932 in Paducah, KY, the daughter of Homer E. and Sadie B. (Patterson) McCutchen. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and received an Associate Degree from Western Kentucky Vocational School, both in Paducah, KY.

Doris married Robert C. Jones on July 18, 1957 in Fremont and he survives. She worked for Standard Products in Port Clinton, OH and retired in 1996 after many years of service.

Doris was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and decorating. She also loved to help raise children.

Roberta is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Robert C. Jones, Fremont, OH; siblings, Belva A. Brown, of Indianapolis, IN and Bernard E. McCutchen, San Antonio, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Horace E. McCutchen, Samuel T. McCutchen; sisters, Mary Frances Smith and Jeanne E. Cousins.

Visitation: Friday, November 15, 2013 from 10:00 am until Noon at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 927 Stilwell Avenue, Fremont, OH.

Service: Friday at Noon at the church with Pastor Herman Norwood officiating.

Burial: McGormley Cemetery, Fremont.
