Robert W. Donaldson

Robert W. Donaldson, 84, of Green Springs, OH passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Eden Springs Nursing Home. He was born on December 29, 1932 in Green Springs, the son of Harry William and Doris (Huss) Donaldson. He was a 1950 graduate of Green Springs High School.

Bob married Elizabeth McGrady on February 5, 1955 at St. Ann Church in Fremont and she preceded him in death on April 20, 2005.

Bob was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the American Legion in Green Springs. Robert enjoyed woodworking and playing golf.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Mary Lou (Jack) Butefish, Parker, CO and Jeanne Lee, Green Springs, OH; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Donaldson; sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Hackenburg, Irene Birdsall; brother-in-law, Billy C. Lee.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 3:00 pm, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH with Pastor Marshall Crawford officiating.

Memorials can be made to Calvary United Methodist Church or Stein Hospice.
