To Bob’s Family,
You all have our deepest sympathy ! Mom enjoyed having Bob as her neighbor at Elmwood for these last 3 years……..They had a lot of good memories from the CLASS Of 1940 from Green Springs High School …..I know Mom will miss seeing and talking to Bob, but we are so glad they got to spend these last few years joking and laughing about the good times ! God Bless you all !!

To Bob’s Family:
I just recently found out about Bob’s passing. I’m very sorry for your loss. I worked with Bob as a apprentice in 1984 at the Turnpike Plaza for Advantage Electric. I never forgot about him.
Bob was a good man, underneath that gruff exterior. He taught me how to be a tradesman and take pride in my work. After 30+ years in the trade, I’ve become an old electrician, just as he was back then.
We would go ’round and ’round about who was better back in the day: Michigan or Ohio State. He was a big time OSU fan and I had season tickets to U of M. One time he wrote “GO BUCKS!” on my lunch pail as a prank. I told him I’d get him back, and I did! The Friday before the Big Game I hung a cardboard sign on the back of his pickup that said “M GO BLUE”.
That Monday he said, “You got me a good one, kid! I couldn’t figure why people we’re honking their horns and flipping me off til the next morning, when I found your sign!”
I still tell people that story.
Again, my condolences.
