
Richard M. Lahey, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 06, 2016 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born October 26, 1926 in Xenia, OH to Leo and Betty Pauline (Harrison) Lahey. He was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Richard served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded WWII Victory Medal. He worked at the Herbrand Company for many years. Richard owned and operated a photography business and also sold fishing lures.
Richard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He also volunteered at the St. Francis Villa in Green Springs where he ran the cameras at the Chapel for Saturday Masses.
Richard is survived by special friends, Beth Meyer and Don Habameier.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm with a Vigil at 7:30 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Graveside Service: Monday, July 11, 2016, 11:00 am at St. Joseph Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
Memorials can be made to Bethesda Care Center or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
