Richard “Dick” J. Jankowski

Richard “Dick” James Jankowski, 83, of Toledo, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Green Springs, OH. He was born June 3, 1933 in Georgia to Stanley and Bertha Jankowski. He was a graduate of Woodward High School in Toledo, OH.

Dick worked for Libby Owens Ford for over forty years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toledo. Dick enjoyed boating in Lake Erie, playing cards, yard work and meeting up with his buddies’ everyday at Tim Horton’s.

Dick is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Mark) Lippert, Fremont, OH, Cindy Notestine, Green Springs, OH; siblings, Rosalie (David) Zaleski, Erie, MI, Jack Jankowski, Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Carrie (Chris) Booher, Eric Notestine, Matthew Lippert, Evan Lippert; great grandchildren, Rylie Notestine, Kadin Notestine, Collin Booher and Westin Notestine; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley “Ski” Jankowski; granddaughter, Amber Notestine.

Services are private for the family.
