
Rex LeRoy Gallatin, 69, of Fort Myers, FL and Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers. He was born September 17, 1952 in Fremont to Lester and Emmalyn (Dillon) Gallatin. Rex was a 1970 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He received an associate degree from Terra Technical College. Rex went on to receive a bachelor and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Phoenix.
Rex married Constance “Connie” Lopez on May 19, 1973 in Fremont. He was an electrical engineer at various nuclear power plants. Rex attended St. John’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.
Rex is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Constance “Connie” Gallatin, Fort Myers, FL and brothers, Jeff (Kathy) Gallatin and Brett Gallatin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: Monday, April 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
