So sorry to hear this news. My mother worked at the Ohio Bell telephone company with Gladys for 25 years. My family visited the farm many, many times throughout the years. Gladys and Ray hosted my first communion when my mother was giving birth to my sister too. They were the kindest people on the earth. I am glad they are in heaven together at last.

We will miss you, Uncle Ray. He and Aunt Gladys loved all of us nieces and nephews as if we were their own children. May you rest in peace.

So sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Ray. He was a gentle man. He taught me a few things growing up, as I helped him on the farm. He, as well as Aunt Gladys, are missed dearly.

The household & farm of Uncle Ray & Aunt Gladys was a second home for me. Literally. I spent so much time up there. I learned so much from the both of them. Like Gladys would say to me, “I’m training you.” I always enjoyed my time with them–the stories, the jokes, the laughter! They were 2 very special people. They were always giving to others, & never asking for anything. Those that knew the 2 of them were truly blessed.
