
Ramona M. Leonard, 86, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Pristine Senior Living of Fremont. She was born August 1, 1930 in Concordia, KS to Everett C. and Laverna Thompson.
Ramona married Fay Leonard on January 9, 1956 in Orville, CA and he survives. She was a Homemaker. Ramona worked as a Supervisor of Housekeeping at the Holiday Inn and also worked at Freddy’s Car Wash in Clyde, OH. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, camping and flower gardening. She loved spending time with her family.
Ramona is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Fay Leonard, Fremont, OH; daughter, Laverna (Darrell) Jones, Sandusky, OH; grandchildren, Mark Hicks, Amber Leonard and Gina Johnson; great grandchildren, Alexander, Michael, Alyse, Alaynah, Christopher, Emma, Corey, Malayia, Elijah and Jessiah; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Leonard.
Visitation: Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Monday, January 9, 2017; Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Click officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont
