Phyllis married Clarence “Bud” Frampton on July 12, 1952 in Kentucky and he survives. She was an insurance underwriter for Pierce Insurance for twenty-five years until she retired in 1999. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed golfing, walking, playing solitaire, her beloved cat, Winston, and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Clarence “Bud” Frampton, Fremont; children, Kimberly (Randy) Hasselbach, Fremont, Susan (Michael) Weis, Maumee, Dee (John) DeTarsio, San Diego, Jody (Tom) Mason, Fremont and Mary Beth (Joe) Bajornas, Canton, OH; siblings, Ila Rose Griffin, Helena and Marilyn Smith, Port Clinton; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elmwood Assisted Living for their loving care and support.
Phyllis never met a stranger – she loved talking to everyone and hearing their stories. Even through Alzheimer’s, she kept her great sense of humor – which ran on autopilot – and she loved to laugh. She loved Mother Mary and believed in the power of prayer. Her family rejoices that all of her prayers have now been answered.
