
Philip D. Gill, 84, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 10, 2021 at Clyde Gardens. He was born on July 19, 1938 in Clyde, OH the son of Robert and Isabel (Meyer) Gill. Phil worked as an operator at Great Lakes Sugar for over twenty years until he retired. Phil was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.
Phil is survived by his children, Christie (Steve) Tornow, Clyde and Chris (Barb) Roebuck, Garland, TX; step-son, Randy (Sherry) Davis, Kingwood, TX; sister, Doris Gray, Clyde; grandchildren, Samantha (Zach) Kilgore, Zach (Alyssa Farrier) Tornow, Austin (Krystal) Roebuck, Dana (Seth) Shumate, Amber (Brennan) Steele, Brandon (Lisa) Davis and Josh Davis and one great grandchild on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of almost fifty years, Gailya Gill; siblings, Robert Hall, Earl Hall, Stella “Sue” Wagoner and Floyd Gill.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd, Fremont OH with a service to follow at 6 p.m.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the Donor’s Choice.
