Perry L. Bliss
Perry L. Bliss, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 17, 2016 at Pristine Living in Toledo, OH. He was born on July 24, 1928 in Washington Township, OH to Charles and Sarah (Hollowell) Bliss. He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1946 to 47.
Perry married Marilyn Kalk on May 4, 1952 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sandusky, OH and she survives. He worked as a press operator at Whirlpool Corporation for forty-three years until he retired. Perry was a member of St. John’s Lutheran. He was a self-taught woodworker and was known for his furniture repair and refinishing.
Perry is survived by his wife Marilyn Bliss; children, Brian (Peggy) Bliss and Alan “Tiger” Bliss all of Fremont, Barbara (Kelley Knapp) Bliss, Stillwater, OK; sister, Kaye Bower, Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Jordan (Tony) Talbert and Aaron Bliss both of Fremont, Tanner and Zachary Evans and Noah Knapp all of Stillwater, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Eileen Mehlow, Janet Kiesel, Aurelia Dienes and Marilyn Frank; brothers, Leroy and Darwin Bliss.
There will be no services at this time.
