
Peggy L. Reed, 82 of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by her family at Valley View. She was born on September 15, 1932 in Fremont to Mervin T. and Mabel May (Nebergall) Andecover. Peggy was a 1950 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Peggy married Dale “Molly” Reed on October 25, 1952 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2004. She worked for Osterman Jewelers as a Manager for over thirty years. Peggy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Fremont Moose and Eagles, where she was the Treasurer for the REAC with the Eagles. She was also a member of the Red Hat Club. She volunteered in the gift shop at the Hayes Presidential Center. She loved to bowl in her younger years where she was on many leagues and held a number of offices. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida Keys where they had a condo and they also loved to spend their winters in Las Vegas.
Peggy is survived by her children, Stuart (Carla) Reed, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, Maureen (Ronald) Humbert, Heath, OH, Rex (Regina) Reed, Fremont, OH; siblings, Mervin “Tom” (Patti) Andecover, Fremont, OH, Lela (Bill) Foultner of Montana, Sharon (Kent) Smith, Fostoria, OH; grandchildren, Wes Reed, Philip Cress, Adrienne Sandwisch, Kyle Humbert, Kaitlin Reed, Leslie Humbert, Erica Hall, Molly Hull, Emily Reed, Alex Reed; great grandchildren, Alyssa Reed, Austin Reed, Tyler Sandwisch, Brett Sandwisch, Bryce Sandwisch, Tyler Humbert, Carter Humbert, Ella Cress, Rylie Cress, Talia Ware, Jayla Hall, Kylah Dandridge, Ellen Roberts, Damien Cress, Rowan Hall, Kaylee Sandwisch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale “Molly” Reed; siblings, Mary Laurer, Charles Andecover, Edward and Bruce Sampsell.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church 204 N. Wayne St, Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the service and Pastor H Kearns officiating.

Sharon and Tom, sorry for your loss. I remember your older sister. Amazing how much her sons look like her husband. I just saw Rex at the hospital not long ago and I knew who he belonged to immediately. I remember how much Sharon loved and was in awe of her older sister.
