Pauline Swartz

Pauline “Winkie” Swartz, 89, of Green Springs, OH passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont, OH. She was born on August 20, 1930 in Rising Sun to Humphrey and Gertrude (Nighswander) Nycum.

Pauline married Ralph Swartz in September of 1948 in Green Springs, OH and he preceded her in death in 1994. Pauline was a homemaker and was a member of the Green Springs VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed coloring, crocheting along with other various crafting, watching cooking shows and baking bread.

Pauline is survived by her children, Ralph (Georgia) Swartz, Jr., Green Springs, OH, Cheri (Steve Krupp) Alt, Norwalk, OH, Larry (Gretchen) Swartz, Green Springs, OH; sister, Annie Crumm, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Gary, Scott, Mindy, Betsy, Nicole, Jessica, Courtney, Tabatha and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Nick, Charles, Paul, Richard, James and Delbert Nycum; sisters, Marie Dayringer, Eldie Czako and Mae Clouse.

Visitation: Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St, Green Springs, OH 44836

Service: Thursday, November 14, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with an hour of visitation prior to this service.

Burial: Green Springs Cemetery
