
Paula J. Hendricks, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Monday, September 3, 2018. She was born on August 1, 1952 in Fremont to Okey and Zella (Stewart) Hendricks. She was a 1970 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Paula worked as a packer at Calvan Tools for twenty years. She then worked at Atlas Industries as a finisher for over ten years and retired January 1, 2018. She loved tending to her plants, especially her roses. She enjoyed reading, writing and riding her own motorcycle. Paula was a loving mom, grandmother and sister.
Paula is survived by her son, William (Julie Kadlubowski) Berndt, Fremont, OH; step children, Jackie (Ed) Hernandez, Julie Barriere, Jason Burke, Christy (Steve) Wyatt; siblings, Karen Franks, David Hendricks, Richard (Jan) Hendricks, Joseph (Barb) Hendricks, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Bryson and Tyler Berndt, Chasity Alejandro, Ciera Crum; special friend, Cindi Kramer; former spouse, Allen Berndt; former companion, Lonnie Burke; pets, Pepper, Chazzy and Krippy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, William L. Berndt; step daughter, Tracy Burke; companion, Jack Zerman; dog, Cher.
Visitation: Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 2 – 6 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Services will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Sandusky County, Heartland Hospice or to Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home.
