
Paul E. Reedy, 95, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Gardens at Clyde, in Clyde, OH. He was born on May 27, 1920 in Bascom, OH, the son of Henry A. and Edith (Hockman) Reedy.
Paul served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Princeton during WWII. He married Lois Betty Little who preceded him in death.
Paul worked as a Machinist at Dana Corporation in Toledo, where he retired after many years of service. He had previously worked for Herbrand and the Fremont Kraut Company. Paul’s spiritual nature was Pentecostal/Apostolic. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling, fishing, hunting and Clyde Fliers Ladies softball and football.
Paul is survived by his children, Patricia Jean (Edward) Lehmann, Roger Paul Reedy, Debra Kay Jones and Angela Rose (Mike) Earl, all of Fremont, OH; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Betty Reedy; brothers, Elmer, Louis, Floyd and George Reedy; sisters, Mary Reedy, Kathrine Felter and Glendora Kieffer.
Visitation: Thursday from 4 – 7 pm at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 211 N. Broadway St, Green Springs, OH.
Service: Friday, September 4, 2015, 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Wagner officiating.
Burial with Military Honors at Green Springs Cemetery.
