Virginia Lee Stansberry

Virginia Lee “Ginny” Stansberry, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Valley View Health Campus in Fremont. Ginny was born on October 28, 1948 to George and Sarah Marie (Colgrove) Withrow in West Virginia. She attended Fremont Ross High School.

Ginny was a bus driver for over thirty-five years working for Fremont City Schools and WSOS. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. Ginny enjoyed collecting Rooster and Chicken Figurines and watching old westerns on TV.

Ginny is survived by her son, Bobby (Bobbi) Estep, Gibsonburg, OH; grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica Green) Karr, Quinten (Brittney) Karr, Yalante (Trey) Estep, DeCoda Estep, Austin (Megan) Estep, Alexis Hickman, Myla Villarreal, Gage Villarreal and ten great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, George Franklin Karr III; step-daughter, Tennille Long; grandson, Michael Karr; siblings, George Withrow, Carol Hensgen, Mary Ann Bartrom and infant brother.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 3-5 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 5 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home.
