Teresa "Terry" Lynn Snyder

Teresa "Terry" Lynn Snyder, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Green Springs, under the care of Elara Hospice. Terry was born on April 1, 1953 to Walter and Phyllis (Hoy) Sloan in Fremont, OH. She was a 1971 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Terry earned her associate degree from Terra Tech while working full time as a single mother of three, and later received her bachelor's degree from Tiffin University.

Terry married Allan "Al" Snyder on June 10, 1989 in Fremont, OH and he survives. She worked at Croghan Colonial Bank in Fremont and Citizens Bank in Norwalk in her younger years. She then went on to work in marketing for Market Builders for many years until she retired. Terry dedicated her time to genealogy; she spent years researching family history, which eventually led her to writing her own book.

Terry is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Allan Snyder; children, Joy (Mark) Monroe, Sylvania, OH, Michael (Jaimi) Mullholand, Perrysburg, OH, Eric Mullholand, Bowling Green, OH, Matthew (Mandy) Snyder, Toledo, OH, Nathan Snyder, Elmore, OH, Anthony (Mollie) Snyder, Northwood, OH; grandchildren, Lucas, Elliot, Marley, Arrow, Cassidy, Keely, Kaiden, Mason, Addisyn, Kodie, Kindallyn; great-grandchildren, Zane and Jameson; parents, Walter and Phyllis Sloan; and siblings, LeeAnn (John) Gouttiere, Waterville, OH, and Troy Sloan, North Madison, OH.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Mullholand; and sister, Marcia Burr.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 11-1 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH, 43420.

Services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.

Memorials can be made in her honor to the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museum.
