Tamara J. Cook

Tamara J. (Tolliver) Cook, 56, of Genoa, OH passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  She was born on April 1, 1966 in Sandusky, OH to Robert and Patricia (Mesaros) Tolliver.  She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Tamara married Chad J. Cook on August 29, 2015.  She was a STNA Home Health Aide.  She also owned and operated a D.J./Karaoke business.   Tamara was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  She enjoyed being a D.J., competing in singing competitions and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was passionate about helping others and taking care of her pets.  Tamara was the type of person who gave herself to others even if that meant she went without.

Tamara is survived by her husband, Chad J. Cook, Genoa, OH; children, Jason (Tiffany) Henry, Port Clinton, OH, Ashley (Mike) Gaskalla, Oak Harbor, OH, Kristina Henry, Fremont, OH; siblings, Holly (Matt) Bender, Fremont, OH, Robert (Samantha) Tolliver, Gibsonburg, OH; grandchildren, Xander, Hannah, Ayden, Melinna, Avery, Aryah and Amayla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Brett Gaskalla.

Visitation:  Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Services will follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. Matt Wahlgren officiating.

Memorials can be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 206 N. Park Ave, Fremont, OH.
