Sue Ann Rupp

Sue Ann Rupp, 80, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 surrounded by her family at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1944 to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Swartz) Hossman in Fremont, OH. She was a 1962 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Sue married Thomas L. Rupp on October 1, 1966 in Fremont and he survives.

Sue worked more than 25 years with Dr. Kelly Randall and previous to that with Dr. William Moore as a medical secretary specializing in workers compensation, who fought tirelessly as their advocate until she retired in May of 2018. She enjoyed snorkelling, swimming with turtles, and whale watching in her favorite destination, the island of Maui, Hawaii. Sue loved spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading, puzzles and cats and dogs.

Sue is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Thomas L. Rupp; children Christopher (Jennifer) Rupp, Scott Rupp; grandchildren, Talia and Elizabeth Rupp; great-grandchildren, Zyaire and Margot; sister, Pat Ohlmann.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Kay Ryan and Mary Hossman.

It was Sue’s wish to not have any services at this time.

Memorials can be made in her honor to the Humane Society of the Donors Choice or to the Ronald McDonald House.
