Steven Koether

Steven L. Koether, 72, formerly of Bradford, OH, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Charles Mercy Health, Oregon, OH. He was born on January 27, 1953 in Dayton, OH to Robert and Betty (Blake) Koether. Steven was a 1971 graduate of Bradford High School and then went on to serve in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.

Steven dedicated more than twenty years of his professional life as a truck driver for Dick Lavy, where he is retired from the company with great pride. Outside of work, he was an avid NASCAR fan and looked forward to watching football games. He also found enjoyment in playing bingo, which brought him great joy.

Steven is survived by his children, Stefanie (Mike) Underwood, Andi Koether, Jessica (Jeremy) Tuente; siblings, Sandra (Russell) Evans, Pam Draving; grandchildren, Brayden Underwood, Rylee Underwood, Camden Koether, Kendall Koether and special niece, Samantha Havens.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Jo Myers and maternal grandmother, Edna Blake.

There will not be any services for Steven at this time.
