Sharon L. Conklin

Sharon L. Conklin, 74, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 11, 2021 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Green Springs, OH.  She was born on April 6, 1947 in Woodstock, VA the daughter of Homer and Mae (Parker Himelright) Orndorff.  She was a1965 graduate of Ross High School.  Sharon worked in the office for Dr Silcox and then Community Health Services for many years until she retired.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading mystery novels and flower gardening.  Sharon loved to spend time with her family and volunteered for many of her children’s activities when they were younger.

Sharon is survived by her children, Kelly Roth, Grove City, OH and Scott Conklin, Fremont; siblings, Gene Orndorff, Fremont, Erma Conner, Winchester, VA and Daphna Clem, Star Tannery, VA; grandchildren, Spencer Conklin, Penelope Roth, Bridget Thomas, Sydney Roth and John Roth and great-granddaughter, Kinsley Conklin.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Delaine “Bud” Orndorff, Phyllis Copeland, Madeline Orndorff, Moline Williams, Homer Orndorff, Rodney Orndorff and Darlene Hasselbach.

Visitation: Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Funeral Service: Friday, December 17, 2021; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Washington Chapel Cemetery, Washington Township
