Scott “Dog” L. Hufford

Scott “Dog” L. Hufford, 63, of Clyde, OH passed away at his home on Sunday, July 24, 2022.  He was born July 1, 1959 in Fremont, the son of Harold Jr. and Judy (Logan) Hufford.  He was a 1977 graduate of Lakota High School.  Scott worked out of the Carpenters Union #744 and retired in 2018.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, fixing things and was a member of the NRA.  He loved his dog, Jet.

Scott is survived by his mother, Judy Hufford, Vickery, OH; siblings, Dianne (Richard) Stetler, Clyde, OH, Micheal (Vickie) Hufford, Holmesville, OH and Bill Hufford, Rushville, IN; nieces and nephews, Mindy (Travis), Andrea (Trent), Jeremi (Dori), Brandon, Christopher (Megan), William and Shauna; many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Hufford, Jr and significant other, Mary Zitter.

Visitation:  Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, Fremont, OH.

Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor David Damschroder officiating.

Private burial will take place at York Chapel Cemetery, Bellevue, OH
