Sarah J. Aspden

Sarah J. Aspden, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away on January 29, 2026 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. She was born on June 4, 1958, the daughter of Merrill S. and Helen J. (Kindig) Keiser. Sarah was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and attended Terra State Community College for medical assisting.

Sarah married Mark Aspden on June 12, 1976 in Fremont, OH. She worked at Kelsey Hayes for over twenty years until they closed. Sarah also sold Stamping Up and Avon products for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Sarah enjoyed bowling, movies and camping. She loved to go for drives with her husband, especially to Amish Country. Sarah also enjoyed walking at Spiegel Grove.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Mark Aspden, Fremont, OH; children, Michael Aspden, Fremont, Martha (Mike) Williams, Melissa (Troy) Snyder, Rachel (Brian) Kuzma all of Fostoria; brother, Philip Keiser, Bellevue; grandchildren, Breanna, Hailey, David, Micah, Isabella and Emily; great grandchildren, Carter and Valentina.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merrill “Sam” Keiser, Jr. and Daniel Keiser.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
