Ron E. Fry

Ronald “Ron” E. Fry, 65, of Fremont, OH, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Firelands Hospital in Sandusky, OH. He was born on October 15, 1960 in Fremont, OH to Ammon and Barbara (Pankratz) Fry. Ron was a graduate of Clyde High School.

Ron married Wendy Pickett on August 14, 1999, in Las Vegas, and she survives. He retired from Whirlpool after forty years of service in the maintenance department. Ron was a member of the Clyde Eagles, Moose, VFW, and Mason Lodge. He enjoyed traveling and watching sports, especially the Cleveland Guardians.

Ron is survived by his wife of almost twenty-seven years, Wendy Fry, Fremont, OH; stepchildren, Anthony Pickett, Jennifer Moren, Hannah George, Julianne Ferrell and ten grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Carter and brother, James Fry.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 5 to 7 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, Oh 43420.
