Roberta Y. Gulau, 79, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1946 in Fremont, OH to Robert and Bertha (Gerwin) Gulau. Roberta was a 1964 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Roberta worked for Silgan Plastics in Port Clinton, OH as an inspector and packer for fifteen years until the company closed. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, assisted in the altar guild and was a part of the lady’s circle. Roberta was a former member of the PWP (Parents Without Partners) and the ASPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). She enjoyed raising rabbits with her daughter, Michele.

Roberta is survived by her daughter, Michele Gulau; grandson, Adrian Gulau; brother, David (Jody) Gulau, all of Fremont, OH; nieces and nephews, Trey (Linda) Gulau, Sandusky, OH, Wendy (Zachary) Bowling, Marblehead, OH, Joseph (Melanie) Frederick, Tiffin, OH, Daniel (Christine) Frederick, Fremont, OH, Andrew (Michelle) Frederick, Tiffin, OH and Jennifer (Nicholas) Sheed, Richmond, GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Gulau Jr.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 212 N. Clover St, Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made in Roberta’s honor to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
