Robert W. Firestone

Robert “Bob” W. Firestone, 69, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home. Bob was born on February 25, 1956 to Lynn and Elizabeth (Ballinger) Firestone in Akron, OH. Bob graduated from Firestone High School. Bob married Lois “Jeannie” Ellis on August 8, 1980 in Marion, OH and she survives.

Bob was a maintenance man for Penn Power and then retired from Northen Manufacturing in 2021 after many years of service. He enjoyed puzzles, yard work, camping, motorcycles, music and was a die-hard Dead Head fan of the Grateful Dead. Bob loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Jeannie Firestone; daughter, Lori (Bryan) Sattler; siblings, Barb Jongeward, Tom Firestone; grandchildren, Bobbie, Leeann (Jed), Cody, Betty, Trisha (Skyler), Lily (Dalton); great grandchildren, Duane, Abel, Hunter, Bonnie, Iris, Haven.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Firestone and Elizabeth Firestone and in-laws, Ida Wilson and Louis Ellis.

It was Bob’s wishes to not have any services at this time.
