Patricia M. Lukac

Patricia M. Lukac, 97, Green Springs, OH passed away on November 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 3, 1926 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Andrew and Stella (Puckrin) McLoughlin.  Pat was a 1944 graduate of Sandusky High School.

Pat married Walter O’Neill in 1951, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1963. Pat then married Andrew J. Lukac on December 4, 1965 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2016.  

Pat was a very successful entrepreneur, and some of her proudest days as a business owner were with The Village Store, in Green Springs, Ohio. Pat was extremely creative, and expressed herself in beautiful flower arranging for many occasions, and for many years.  She was also an avid baker, and was especially known for her delicious varieties of cookies that brought happy smiles to so many people.

Pat is survived by her children, Kathleen (Ray Merrill) O’Neill, Gainesville, FL, Kevin (Marsha Carrington) O’Neill, Sandusky, Michael (Gigi) O’Neill, Clyde, Laurie (Gary) Frayn, Beaverton, OR, Andrew (Lisa) Lukac III, Bellevue and Matthew (Paula) Lukac, Norwalk, OH; eighteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Brian O’Neill, siblings, George McLoughlin and Vivian Hendershot.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 for 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to services at St. Mary Catholic Church, 609 Vine St., Clyde, OH 43410.

Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery.  A Luncheon will follow burial back at St. Marys.
