Nancy Lynn Sluder

Nancy Lynn Sluder, 61, of Fremont, OH passed away with her son Kenny by her side on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Nancy was born on February 18, 1965 to Kenneth L. and Phyllis (DeCant) Roth Sr. in Fremont, OH. She was a 1983 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Nancy married Thomas Sluder Sr. on October 28, 1983 at River of Life Church of God in Fremont and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2017.

Nancy worked for Ohio Agriculture Research and Development for over fifteen years until she retired, to take care of her late husband Thomas. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and taking care of her yard. She loved spending time outside and having bonfires. Nancy watched documentaries on history and natural disasters. Above all she loved spending time with those who loved her.

Nancy is survived by her children, Thomas V. (Bobbie) Sluder, Kenneth (Summer) Sluder; sisters, Diane Hiser, Pamela Roth, Connie Gerogosian; grandchildren, Kendra Sluder, Kenny Sluder, Lilac Rose Sluder; mother, Phyllis Roth; nephews, Nathan and Nickolas Hiser; niece, Brittany (Doug) Edwards and aunt, Kathryn Lowery.

She is preceded in death by her father, and husband, Thomas Sluder.

It was Nancy’s wish to not have services at this time.

Memorials can be made in her honor to her son Kenneth Sluder.
